정기적인 지역명소 스케치모임을 통해 성북지역문화 컨텐츠의 예술성, 스토리텔링, 교육적인 가치를 증진시키고, 그 활동을 홍보하여 성북에 거주하거나 방문하여 그림을 그리는 사람들을 연결시킨다.

우리의 목표는 세상을 보여주는 것,

The mission of Urban Sketchers is to raise the artistic, storytelling and educational value of location drawing, promoting its practice and connecting people around the world who draw on location where they live and travel. We aim to show the world, one drawing at a time.

The Urban Sketchers Manifesto

1. We draw on location, indoors or out, capturing what we see from direct observation.
2. Our drawings tell the story of our surroundings, the places we live and where we travel.
3. Our drawings are a record of time and place. 4. We are truthful to the scenes we witness.
5. We use any kind of media and cherish our individual styles.
6. We support each other and draw together.
7. We share our drawings online.
8. We show the world, one drawing at a time.
